The Hart van Alem is centrally located in the Netherlands and is the perfect base to discover North Brabant and Gelderland. To get the most out of your visit, we would like to give you some of our favourite tips & addresses!
Enjoy the many trails through the Bommelse Uiterwaarden, De Hurnse Kil and the Maarten van Rossumpad, the walking route along beautiful river villages. Cycling and walking maps are ready for you!

This cozy & Burgundian city can be reached within fifteen minutes from our b&b.
Zandmeren |
A unique recreation park in one of the beautiful floodplains along the Maas in Kerkdriel. Here you will find a beach, a sunbathing lawn, swimming facilities and various restaurants.
Bicycle rental |
In collaboration with Juijn Bike Totaal in Rossum, you can rent the following bicycles from us;
Women's and/or men's bike: €12.00 per day
Women's and/or men's e-bike: €25.00 per day
You can reserve the bicycles with us at least 2 days before arrival via info@hethartvanalem.nl. Also indicate your height and we will make sure that the bicycles are ready on the day of use!

Ben je op zoek naar een leuke en originele vaartocht in de Bommelerwaard met bijpassende arrangementen? Dat kan met onze eigen Het Hart van Alem sloep!

Golfing |
Op slechts 3km afstand, ligt de 9-holes golfbaan van Golfclub De Dorpswaard. Deze golfbaan, met een unieke ligging in het oude stroomgebied van de Maas, is uitdagend en toegankelijk voor spelers van ieder niveau.
